This vintage glass vase from the 1960s is a tender depiction of a girl with braids praying under a starry sky. The clean design is characteristic of its designer, Bengt Edenfalk. The heavy vase is copper-wheel engraved, and signed on its base with the company name, Skruf.
The vase is four inches tall and weighs about two pounds. It is in excellent condition.
The Skruf Glassworks was founded in Sweden in 1897 and is still operating today. Bengt Edenfalk was the artistic director at Skruf from 1952 - 1978, creating many iconic Swedish motifs.
