This vase has an engraved image of a nearly nude woman with a pearl in her hands and a lace cape behind her. It was made in a Swedish town called Orrefors, but not by the Orrefors company. The signature reads FW Johansson, for a man named Walter Johansson. Johansson bought undecorated glass pieces from some of the smaller glass workshops in the area. He had an engraving shop in the town of Orrefors, and he hired local engravers to decorate the blanks. If I had to guess, I'd say the engraver was from Johansfors; I've seen a similar drape in one of their vases (see the last photo).
The vase is 7 inches tall, 5.5 inches wide, and 3 inches front to back. It has a beautiful, heavy base and it weighs about 3 pounds. It has a fair share of tiny scratches, which don't distract much from the image. This vase has had a good life!
