This vintage, copper-wheel engraved crystal vase was made at Målerås, likely in the 1960s. I have not been able to identify the designer, but it is possibly a Mats Jonasson piece. The condition is very good, with just a few little scratches on the back. This lead crystal vase is 8 inches tall and weighs almost 2 pounds. I think the style of the woman's hair and jewelry speaks of the late 60s or early 70s, but I can’t be sure of that.
Mats Jonasson (born 1945) is a Swedish glass designer. He is notable for his engraved lead crystal sculptures of flowers and wildlife that are manufactured by the glassworks in Målerås, Sweden and are marketed around the world. (Wikipedia)
