This special little copper-wheel-engraved glass vase depicts a charming Swedish scene - a girl and boy running up a hill to a Maypole. The vase is unmarked, and I can't peg the maker - sorry. It may have been made at Kosta, Sweden's oldest glass mill, or at Smålandshyttan, a small mill in the heart of the Crystal Kingdom, or at Johansfors, since their work is often unsigned, or at one of about 50 other glassworks active in Sweden during the 20th century! Regardless, whoever made it created a lovely image of a Midsummer's Day sunrise in Sweden.
This flower vase is 2" x 1.5" x 5.5" and weighs 1 pound. It is in very good vintage condition. There is one imperfection to note: as shown in the last photo, there is a tiny stone in the glass. It looks a lot like a bubble, and I didn't notice it until I went to wrap it. It's a bit of luck, I'd say!
